Your roof estimate
in about a minute.

Type your address. We find the roof from above, measure it and open your estimate below — with a satellite view you can correct yourself.

We use Google satellite imagery to measure the roof and send your estimate details to our team so we can follow up.

Three answers. One minute.

Know your roof
before you talk to anyone.

The calculator gives you the scale of the job, a planning range and a direction, so the first conversation starts from understanding rather than a sales pitch.

Roof size & materials

How big the roof really is.

Floor area is not roof area. Pitch, overhangs and intersecting planes change the number. The calculator turns what you know about the home into roofing squares and the materials that go with them.

A cost range

A planning range, not a guess.

See how shingle, metal and complexity choices move the range before anyone visits. Use it to compare priorities and prepare for a written proposal.

Repair or replace

Which direction fits your roof.

Age, storm history and what you have noticed point toward a targeted repair or a full replacement. The read is a starting point for the inspection conversation.

How the estimate works

From what you know
to a number you can use.

Three steps. The first two happen on this page; the third is where the estimate becomes a proposal.

  1. A homeowner in her front yard looking up at the charcoal shingle roof of a limestone Central Texas home

    Tell us about the home

Enter your address, phone and email. We find the roof from above and send your details to our team so a real person can follow up on the estimate.

  2. Hand-drawn roof plan on a wood table with a tape measure, a charcoal shingle sample and a calculator

    See the numbers

The calculator works out roofing squares, a materials outline, a planning range and a repair-or-replace read, with the assumptions shown beside every figure.

    Confirm with an inspection

A real number needs a real look. Request an inspection and we measure the roof, document its condition and put the scope and price in writing.

Straight answers

Roof calculator questions.

Is the roof calculator free?

Yes. There is no charge and no obligation. We ask for your address, phone and email so our team can follow up on the estimate with a measured inspection if you want one.

How accurate is the estimate?

It is a planning aid based on your inputs and typical roofing assumptions. It cannot see deck condition, layers, access or the details around chimneys and walls. Treat the range as a starting point and confirm it with a measured, written proposal.

Does it replace a roof inspection?

No. The calculator helps you understand scale and direction. An inspection establishes the actual measurement, condition and scope. Neither the calculator nor an inspection guarantees a final price until the proposal is written.

Can it tell me whether insurance will pay?

No. Coverage depends on your policy, the cause of damage and your insurer’s assessment. We can document roofing findings and provide an estimate; the insurer decides coverage.

What if I do not know my roof’s pitch or age?

Use the closest option and note it. The inspection confirms the details, and the written proposal will reflect the measured roof rather than the estimate.

Which areas do you serve?

Austin and Central Texas, including Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Leander, Pflugerville and the surrounding communities listed in the footer.
