We document and repair the roof. We do not act as your public adjuster or negotiate your claim. Your insurer decides coverage and payment.

Roof claim denied? What do I do next?

Three steps, starting today.

  1. Get the denial in writing. Ask your insurer for the reason and the policy provisions it relied on.
  2. Get the roof documented. We inspect every slope, mark test squares, photograph and measure, and put the scope in writing.
  3. Know your options. Reinspection, supplement, the appraisal clause, a TDI complaint, or a licensed public adjuster—explained plainly.

Support you can understand

You don’t have to figure out the roofing work alone.

Texas Professional Roofing helps make the roofing side of an insurance claim easier to follow: inspection findings, repair estimates, site coordination and completion records. You stay informed and in control of your decisions.

From the first call to the final review

A clear path forward.

Explore each step. See what happens,
what you receive, and what comes next.

Start with a conversation

Tell us what changed.

Share the property location, the storm date if known, and any leaks or visible damage. We’ll discuss access and the next inspection step.

What this gives you

You get a clear starting point and a roofing team to talk to.

Keep existing photos and receipts. If water is entering, call to discuss temporary protection.

A practical record of your roof

Less guesswork.
More clarity.

Discuss the inspection scope and documentation with the team before the visit. The report reflects accessible conditions and the work actually performed.

Transparent from the start

Everyone’s role. Clearly explained.

Your roofing team

Inspect and document roof conditions. Explain repair methods and estimates. Coordinate roofing discussions with the adjuster. Complete the agreed work.

You, the homeowner

Open the claim, share your information, review your insurer’s decisions and approve your roofing contract. Keep your deductible and other costs in view.

Your insurance company

Review the claim and determine coverage, depreciation, deductibles and payment under your policy. Policy questions and claim decisions belong here.

We support the roofing work and its documentation. We do not act as your public adjuster, file the claim for you, negotiate settlements, guarantee coverage or waive deductibles.

Straight answers before you start

Know what to expect.

Do I need to file a claim before the inspection?

You can discuss a roof inspection before deciding what to do next. If you have already filed, share the adjuster’s appointment and roofing information. Ask your insurer about notice requirements and deadlines.

Can you meet my insurance adjuster?

We can discuss coordinating a site visit with your permission and share roofing observations, estimates and repair details. We do not represent you in settlement negotiations.

Will insurance pay for a new roof?

Only your insurer can decide what your policy covers. Roof age, cause of damage, exclusions, deductibles and policy terms can affect the decision. An inspection is not a promise of payment.

What will I pay?

Confirm the inspection fee, if any, before booking. Review the written roofing price and payment terms. Your deductible, optional upgrades and uncovered work may be your responsibility.

What if the estimate or claim decision changes?

Ask us to clarify the roofing scope and provide factual supporting documentation for the work. Direct coverage disputes to your insurer; a licensed public adjuster or attorney can advise about representation. If the claim was denied, start with our denied-claim guide.
